Steve and I had the great fortune of spending four days in New Orleans, recently. It was a much needed break for both of us. Although the convention we were attending took up most of our time, we did have to fit in the obligatory "gifts for home" shopping while we were there.
On our last day there, we decided to find this goth clothing store I remembered from my first trip there ten years ago. On the way to that store, we found another place called Limbo. This was a little more our style than goth.
Limbo had goth clothing, too, but it was mostly fetish wear. PVC outfits, leather corsets, etc. We had so much fun. I think we were trying on clothes for two hours. We had a blast, spent way too much money, and left with some nice additions to our wardrobe.
Once we got back to the hotel, we had to try everything on again, of course. Oh my does Steve love my new outfit! Black PVC skin-tight, long-sleeved jacket that laces up the front, along with an incredibly tight, black PVC skirt with laces that show lots of skin. There's just something about PVC that makes any ass look good.
Oh, and how I love his new shorts! I have always said that I married Steve for his ass. When he puts those shiny silver shorts that are so-tight-they-ride-halfway-up on, I cannot keep my hands off his ass! Oh my!
Uh, anyway, why can't I find stores like that in Ohio? I know of two, sort of. The one in Cleveland really doesn't carry all that much stuff and I don't care for the quality. The other one, a chain, isn't hard core. This is very disturbing.
I have always been one to buy clothes off the rack and they always fit. I never have to try things on. Except for fetish clothes. The fabrics and designs just make it impossible to know how it's going to fit without trying it on. So, buying fetish wear off of a web page isn't that great of an idea. So, what choices am I left with?
I think I'm going to start selling it myself. I've found at least one company whose merchandise is absolutely wonderful. There are few more that I'd like to check out. I think I can handle that as a job. Of course, it just might cost me more money than it makes after I buy everything I like...
