I am Not a Normal Girls
(With apologies to Maggie Estep)

Never have I been able to claim that I am a "normal girl." I never played with dolls. I was the only girl in the baseball league. I LOVED (still do, really) math.

"But you are a homemaker, a stay at home mom," people say. I don't watch soaps or talk shows. I despise shopping. Instead, I love to tinker on the car or (more recently) the computer.

I love to get dirty. I love to fix things. I LOVE TOOLS. They get me all wet. I love working on my car with my tools. I love fixing things around the house with my tools. I have yet to make my workbench in the basement so I have a place to use my tools.

I love games of all types: board games, card games (classic and collectible) computer games, puzzle games, shoot-em-up games. It's not the competition (sometimes, if I am winning, I will start loosing on purpose to make the game last longer), they are just fun!
